Someday, a C8 Corvette will be in my garage. Might be a long time, but I have my ideal spec now:

I think the price is pretty nice. Rapid blue color with the Z51 performance package, yellow calipers, and chrome lug nuts. Needed them to get the high price I wanted.

The interest on the loan would lead me to spend more than that niiice price though :( I’d have to skip magneride and possibly the Z51 package to get it back to that price.

My MR2 and I both appreciate that . Honestly, the C8 doesn’t look great in factory configuration. The wheels aren’t available in black, and it’s kind of busy overall as a design. With the right set of wheels and a more cohesive rear wing (the Z51 spoiler isn’t doing it for me) it might be a bit better.

I guess I could just save up the price-as-configured for MR2 upgrades instead?

Round taillights would absolutely make this car. Like, instant classic status. A kamm tail look like the early C3 models would be nice and clean too.

I love the color and have definitely warmed to the Corvette as I’ve gotten older. For that exact price? Honestly, I’d probably get the following: a lightly used Sonata (18), a Honda Beat (10), a Beat parts car (6), a used Leaf (10), repair the Sienna and put a hitch on it (6), and.. could I get a Roxor+trailer for 19k?

And the 2nd type of CEO are guys who have a lot of their own skin in the company they lead. If that company goes down, they personally lose more than any other shareholder.

And this 2nd type of CEO can be great at first, but can also result in killing the company if they stay too long... like in the case of Henry Ford #1.
